Only one station would air the spots at first and required us to pair two of them together. When three other stations saw the volume of ad revenue we generated, they also allowed our 15-second spots. Strickly Advertising became a Top 20 Rochester Agency achieving more than $2-million in billings in Year One.

1994 – Changed agency name to AdWorks. In addition to TV ad innovations, we were the first Rochester agency to design and place advertisers on the internet with their own web pages.

The one-mile drive-through light show would have featured music by local artists played over low-power radio station, refreshments and a dazzling light display by America’s top designer. Because the beautiful park sits in a valley with insufficient electricity, AdWorks contracted with a local provider for portable wind and solar energy. AdWorks’ holiday light show would have been the first in the world powered entirely by renewable energy. The show was nixed by the Monroe County Legislature.

2009 – Won Best Screenplay, NORTH STAR, The Life of Frederick Douglass at the Buffalo-Niagara Film Festival.

2009 – AdWorks debuts Pizza All-Stars, a fundraising event for the ALS Association. The second year of Pizza All-Stars was nixed by Monroe County, which refused to permit parking at an enlarged venue.
